現在の私の研究テーマは、第二言語習得の研究と、Sustainable development goals (SDGs), 特にSDGsの進展における言語教育の役割に焦点をあてています。

Along with second language acquisition research, my current research interests are focused on sustainable development goals, in particular the role of language education in progressing sustainable development goals.

私はアメリカのイリノイ州シカゴ出身で、2011年から日本に住み、教えています。趣味は、音楽制作、映画制作、運動です。

アメリカで大学生だった頃、学校で留学生とたくさん友達になりました。そのとき、アメリカを離れて、もっと世界を体験してみたいという気持ちが芽生えました。大学で教えることができ、学生を励ますことができるのはとても幸せなことです。

I am from Chicago, Illinois in the United States and have been living and teaching in Japan since 2011. My interests include music production, filmmaking, and exercise.

When I was a university student in the US, I made so many friends with international students at my school. At that time, I found the desire to leave the US and experience more of the world. I’m so happy to be able to teach at university and encourage students to do the same.
