Graduate School

Contributing To Society At The Forefront of Academia

The primary mission of the Graduate School is not only to produce scholars but also to develop highly skilled professionals. In our Master's courses and the first half of Doctoral courses, students receive extensive one-on-one guidance both in their specialized field and related fields to acquire expertise and the methodological skills to enable them to conduct state-of-the-art research. The second half of our Doctoral courses places emphasis on creating one's own study methods to become an independent researcher. To accomplish this, we have professors of established reputation who provide high-level instruction in each field. Along with this education, including research instruction, a teaching assistant system is in place, under which graduate students who have financial difficulties may receive a scholarship for undertaking faculty support tasks. At the same time, we have various types of entrance examination systems in order to accept adult students and foreign students.
