In addition to programs and classes, the university provides a range of facilities to support student learning, including the two self-study areas, the Global Commons and the Learning Commons.
Global Commons
世界に目を向けてみよう、全てはそこから始まる
-Bringing the world into your campus life-
グローバルコモンズでは様々な資料を取り揃えています。例えば、11言語に渡る書籍や雑誌、新聞、DVD、資格試験対策参考書、留学書籍、海外旅行ガイドブックなど。 また、英語でのエッセイの書き方、プレゼンテーションの方法などアカデミックスキルが身に付くワークショップや、英語やその他外国語によるチャットなど語学・異文化理解に関するアクティビティも開催しています。
The Global Commons provides a wide range of resources in 11 languages (books, magazines, newspapers, DVDs, test preparation materials, study abroad preparation and travel guides). It also holds workshops on, for example, English writing for essay or giving presentations in English, and provides chances to chat in English and other languages.

Learning Commons
共に学び、共に創る。「共創空間」で知的な成長を。
- Share and collaboratively build your knowledge -
ラーニングコモンズは、学生が「ともに学び合う空間」です。ノートPCやプロジェクタをはじめとするICT機器、ホワイトボードやモニタを活用するなど、さまざまなスタイルで学習することが可能です。 また、ICT利用サポート、ライティング/プレゼンテーションに関するワークショップや個別相談対応などを実施し、学習の上で困ったことなどについてスタッフが支援します。

The Learning Commons provides an “active learning” space. A range of environments are designed to suit different learning styles. There is a wide range of ICT equipment for all your study needs as well as great facilities for group learning and discussion. Also, several workshops will help you to use ICT or write reports and presentations in Japanese.
