New Student Exchange Agreement with Taichung National University - Taiwan

On August 24, KSU welcomed three visitors including President Ru-Jer Wang from the National Taichung University of Education, Taiwan. During the visit a new student exchange agreement was signed between the universities, making NTUE the 4th partner for KSU in Taiwan. KSU now has 75 partner universities and 1 research partner throughout 27 countries.

Attending the signing ceremony from NTUE were President Ru-Jer Wang, his wife Dr. Yueh-Chun Huang - visiting scholar from the Catholic University of Korea and Dr. Eric Chu - Dean for International and Cross-Strait Affairs. Representing KSU were President Oshiro, Prof. Seki – Deputy Director for the Center for International Program (CIP), Mr. Yoshikado – Administrative Director for CIP and Mr. Mori – Manager for CIP. Agreements were signed after a welcome from President Oshiro and a friendly response from President Wang.

Following the signing ceremony, the guests were offered a tour of the campus and then joined President Oshiro for dinner during which productive talks took place on future opportunities for student mobility.

NTUE has been a national university in Taiwan since 2005 after being founded as the Taichung University of Education. The University has 4 faculties (Education, Humanities, Science, Management) and provides for a student population of 5,000. NTUE has more than 100 overseas partner schools and very active in international exchange.
