Study Abroad Fiesta

The Center for International Programs held a Study Abroad Fiesta in the Learning Commons on April 8.

KSU students who had studied abroad in the US, Canada, Italy, Germany, China, Spain, etc, along with exchange students divided into booths for each country and gave advice study abroad and introduced features of the different countries using power points slides, photos and other materials.

Students considering study abroad asked questions on a range of topics including climate, daily life, costs for studying abroad etc. The student advisors enthusiastically answered each question based on their first hand experience and knowledge.

Messages and photos from other students who had studied abroad were also posted around the Learning Commons on panels and in files. Feedback from seniors who had completed job hunting was also provided in handouts and given to participating students.

Exchange students said that this was a great chance to meet with more KSU students and share about their home universities and countries. Any students looking to come to KSU as an exchange student can look forward to participating in this twice a year event.
