I am a lawyer and member of the California State Bar Association. I like travelling and learning about different cultures. I also like going to museum exhibitions and watching movies.

My seminar courses focus on law topics of interest to the students generally involving American Law, Anglo-American Law, International Business Transactions, Law and Culture and Comparative Law.

All of my courses including my seminar courses are active learning / class participation classes taught in English to enable students to improve their English skills as well as learn about law. I emphasize practical information which will be useful for students in their future work, travels and otherwise in their lives.

As I am a lawyer and member of the California State Bar Association, my research on American Law and International Business Transactions tends to focus on practical and topical issues, including dispute resolution, contracts, and the jury system. 
I have been researching the law, legal systems, business practices and cultures of different jurisdictions and the relationships among them. I am also interested in the legal changes that have resulted from globalization and changes in the world order, especially in the emerging market economies, the former emerging market economies and developing countries.
Most importantly for students, much of what I research depends on my students’ particular interests. In many of my classes we study topics based on the students’ interests and I conduct research accordingly.
