Visit by Director of American Partner University
Dr. Takagi and Prof. Imai
Dr. Chiaki Takagi, Director, Japanese Studies Program of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG), visited KSU on June 10.
Agreements with UNCG were formed in 2008. Every year KSU accepts students from UNCG as exchange students and until 2009 several students attended Interlink at UNCG as a part of a Disney World Internship program.
(Due to policy changes by US immigration, recruitment of the Disney World Internship program ended in 2009.)
Dr. Takagi enjoyed a talk with exchange students from UNCG, following which she held productive talks with the Director and staff of the Center for International Programs regarding possibilities for future student programs between both universities.
