Spring Semester Welcome Reception for Exchange Students

April 6th saw the 2010 Spring Semester Welcome Reception for incoming exchange students held in Lounge Furusato adjacent to Koyama Hall.

From this Spring semester, 23 new students arrived from Mexico, Poland, Russia, France, Germany, Australia, USA, China, Korea and Taiwan. The reception was warmly supported by academic advisors, Japanese teachers, invited faculty, student tutors, ‘Friends’ and I-House Assistants.

As representatives of the new students, Zhen Ding Xi from Soochow University, China and Olga Cyganiak from Adam Mickiewicz University, Poland offered two terrific speeches in Japanese further demonstrating the high caliber of students coming to KSU on exchange programs.
