The multi-purpose sports ground near the campus, which includes an athletics stadium, a baseball field, a horse riding ground and an archery ground, is used for general classes and club activities, as well as for the private use of students. There is also a second gymnasium (judo and kendo), a second sports ground (lacrosse, and ground hockey), Koyama Ball Game Ground (rugby and soccer), and tennis courts in Koyama and Ichihara. At the edge of Lake Biwa (Sakamoto-cho, Otsu city) there is a yacht yard, where sailing club equipment is stored.
