Research Overview

Our laboratory is researching “Affective Engineering”. Nowadays when values are becoming diversified, it is difficult for a person to retrieve information of a product suitable for his/her emotion for the design from Web. In finding the products of the design suitable for his/her emotion, an Internet service should understand his/her emotion about them. In our laboratory, we are researching a method for modeling personal affection/emotion in order that an Internet service helps to find the products of the design suitable for his/her emotion. As an application of the personal affective model, our laboratory is developing a system that coordinates fashion (clothes) and interior accessory.
