Amount	Equivalent to 20% of Annual Tuition Fee

Second Through Fourth Year

Amount	100,000 yen per semester
Eligibility	Privately-Financed International Students with high academic grade achievement
Accepted Numbers	One or two students per faculty
Term	One Semester (Re-applications accepted for following semester)

Note

1. The above stated tuition fee reductions / scholarships etc are limited to students with "Exchange Student" status.This status is not applicable to fellow inhabitants or Japanese spouses etc of the said student.
2. The period of the above stated tuition fee reductions / scholarships etc is limited to the minimum period required for course completion.
3. The above stated tuition fee reductions / scholarships etc are not applicable to students otherwise receiving scholarships or other financial assistance from government and/or commercial or other groups.
4. Tuition fee reductions and provided scholarships for second to fourth year students are limited to those students attaining the prescribed credits.

Scholarships Systems Sponsored by Local Government of Other Organizations

Along with the Ministry of Education's "Privately Funded International Student's Study Incentive Allowance" Scholarship System there are also scholarships offered by public and private organizations in Kyoto Prefecture and Takatsuki City. Students applying for these scholarships are recommended through the University.
