Tri-lingual Janken at Sumire Kindergarten

Jesi, Gabs and Nils, currently on exchange at KSU, joined the children at KSU’s Sumire Kindergarten for a fun packed morning on December 9.

The students taught the children a hand game called Bubblegum and in return the children taught the students different versions of rock-paper-scissors. This turned into a fun tri-lingual game using Japanese, German and English. Sumire children had also practiced seasonal themed songs which they sang to Jesi, Gabs and Nils.

After playing with the children in the main hall, the Jesi, Gabs and Nils joined Tomato Gumi 2 (3 year old class) for lunch. During lunch Jesi returned the gift of song by singing “Let it Go” from Frozen, which the children just loved.

A fun morning was had by all. Arigato KSU Sumire Kindergarten and Danke students.
