Exchange Students Visit Kurahashi Elementary, Maizuru

On October 30th, 15 exchange students from Kyoto Sangyo University participated in an annual World Classroom (World Kyoshitsu) program held by the Maizuru City Kurahashi Elementary School.

The day consisted of a welcome in the school gymnasium followed by class visits. During the visits, exchange students shared about their home countries, languages, food, pets, schools, etc. In return, the elementary school students introduced games and aspects of Japanese culture to the exchange students. After the class visits and lunch with the children, the exchange students were given the chance to participate in a tea ceremony and a Koto lesson.
