Exchange students get a taste of Heian tradition

Two very popular classes for exchange students at KSU in the Spring semester are Religion in Japan and Historical Origins of Modern Japan taught by Dr. Catherine Ludvik. As part of these classes, Dr. Ludvik took students on April 29 to the Kyoto City Heiankyo Sosei-Kan Museum. Students dressed in Kimono and tried their hand at a traditional version of Karuta using shells rather than cards as in more recent versions.

Thank you Katharina and Mathias for modeling so well.
